The Ultimate African Escape: Kenya & Diani Beach
Two countries. Two unforgettable vibes. One extraordinary journey.
First Stop: Kenya Dive into the vibrant energy of Nairobi – a city where urban culture and wild nature collide. Then, embark on a once-in-a-lifetime safari, where every game drive is a front-row seat to the raw beauty of Africa. Lions lounging in the golden grass, herds of elephants crossing your path, and skies painted in colors you’ll never forget. You’ll taste the real Africa through its food, connect with its rich cultures, and feel the heartbeat of the land under your feet.
Next Up: Diani Beach After the thrill of safari life, it’s time to surrender to the sea. Diani Beach is pure magic — crystal-clear waters, swaying palms, beachside brunches, sunset dhow sails, and slow, soul-refreshing days. Wander vibrant coastal towns, indulge in Swahili flavors, or simply lose track of time as the tides roll in and out.
This isn’t just a trip — it’s an experience designed to feed your soul. From thrilling game drives to dreamy ocean breezes, every moment fuses luxury, culture, and adventure into one unforgettable escape.
What this trip asks of you, before you read the day-by-day.
Moderate
Most activities are not strenuous, but travelers should be comfortable walking on uneven ground, getting in and out of safari vehicles and being out for extended sightseeing days. Safari days may include several hours seated in the vehicle.
Balanced
Expect a few early mornings and longer travel or safari days, balanced with slower-paced time to relax and enjoy Diani Beach. The Masai Mara portion includes approximately five hours of driving each way from Nairobi.
Terrain varies throughout the trip and may include paved city areas, dirt and gravel paths, uneven safari camp grounds and sandy beach areas. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
Kenyan Shilling (KES)
Credit and debit cards are accepted at many hotels, resorts and established businesses. Carrying some Kenyan shillings is recommended for tips, small purchases and local vendors.
7 hours ahead of Eastern Time
During this trip.
Private ground transportation is provided throughout the trip. We’ll drive from Nairobi to the Masai Mara, approximately 5 hours each way, with comfort stops along the route, then return to Nairobi. From Nairobi, we’ll take a domestic flight to Diani Beach, with a return flight to Nairobi at the end of the trip.
