The Ultimate Journey Through Ancient Egypt Egypt is not just a destination — it is a passage through civilization itself. From the electric energy of Cairo’s streets to the sacred stillness of Luxor’s West Bank, every day on this itinerary is intentionally designed to move you.
First Stop: Cairo Step into one of the world’s most legendary cities. Explore the Pyramids of Giza, come face to face with the Sphinx, and walk through the Grand Egyptian Museum, home to the treasures of pharaohs. Feel the pulse of Cairo through its bazaars, spices, and ancient streets.
Next: The Nile River Cruise Board a luxury Nile cruise and let the river carry you through history. From Aswan to Luxor, each stop reveals a new wonder — Philae Temple, Kom Ombo, Edfu, the Valley of the Kings, and the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. Days on deck. Evenings of entertainment. Memories that last a lifetime.
This is not just a vacation. It is a passage through time — crafted for travelers who want to experience Egypt with clarity, ease, and intention.
What this trip asks of you, before you read the day-by-day.
Moderate
Expect regular walking during sightseeing, including extended time exploring temples, historical sites and museums. You do not need to be highly athletic, but travelers should be comfortable walking and standing for periods of time.
Balanced
This itinerary blends full sightseeing days with more relaxed moments aboard the Nile cruise. Some days begin earlier to make the most of sightseeing and travel between destinations.
Historic sites may include uneven stone, sand, gravel, steps and areas without smooth paved walkways. Comfortable, supportive walking shoes are strongly recommended.
Egyptian Pound (EGP)
Credit cards are commonly accepted at hotels and many larger establishments, but carrying some local currency is helpful for small purchases, tips and local vendors.
